Oliver is a five year old black cat. He joined our family one day after a long week at work for his soon-to-be-owner(me) led to browsing kitten pictures online. When I saw the adorable picture of him on the Humane Society of Silicon Valley website, I knew he would be the perfect addition to the household – but his name, Boomer, had to go. Instead we called him Oliver, after my late great-grandfather.

Oliver LOVES snuggles, food, being carried around the house in paper bags, and watching the birds outside.

He’s not so fond of his adopted sister Lilith, sharing toys, or being told “no.”

But his favorite thing in the world is people – he’s never met a stranger he didn’t like, and he’ll curl up in any available lap, any time, and stay as long as you let him.
