Rosa has always known she would work with animals. Growing up her home was filled with cats, dogs, and bunnies. A native of Santa Cruz, California, Rosa moved to Berkeley in 2012 to pursue her career in the animal welfare field. Now, her focus is on achieving her Master in Social Welfare with a focus on end of life care, after just receiving her Bachelor of Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. Rosa enjoys drawing, reading, hiking and traveling. She shares her home with two rescued kitties: a sassy Siamese named Buena and a little Munchkin named Mr. LeatherReno.
