Adult Canine and Feline Packages
Our Adult Wellness Packages are designed to provide annual preventive care and to detect diseases that you pet is at the highest risk for during each stage of your pet’s life:
- Adult pets (1 to 3 years)
- Adult pets (4 to 6 years)
Routine diagnostic tests will pick up abnormalities in approximately 10% of patients within these age groups. Most of these conditions can be treated with a simple dietary change or supplement.

These packages can help your veterinarian diagnose, treat or ideally prevent health problems BEFORE they become life-threatening.
Pets age seven times faster, on average, than people. Most dogs and cats reach adulthood by age two. By age four, many pets are entering middle age. By age seven, most dogs and cats, particularly larger breeds, are entering their senior years.
Problems progress faster in pets. Why?
- Because dogs and cats age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time
- Even pets that appear normal can have an underlying problem that may only be detected during an examination by your veterinarian.
We currently have 2 levels of Senior Early Detection Packages for both dogs and cats. Your veterinarian will decide which level package is most appropriate for your pet, based on the physical examination. These packages are designed to provide the necessary preventive care and early detection diagnostics your pet needs to live a long and healthy life. These packages are recommended for:
- Senior pets (7 years or older)
- Senior giant breed dogs (5 years or older)
Diagnostic tests performed on a senior pet will pick up abnormalities in about 20% of seemingly healthy pets. These abnormalities can usually be treated and managed by simple dietary changes or medications.
